Garmin Tucson marathon

We are excited to be serving Tucsons marathon runners and their friends and family at the start and finish line in downtown Tucson.

A Boston Marathon qualifier, the marathon kicks off at sunrise in the heart of downtown Tucson. As the course heads west, runners transition from city streets to open terrain with a view of the Tucson Mountains.

Early miles move through quiet suburbs as runners stride toward Speedway Boulevard before returning to the city center. From stretches through the University of Arizona Mall to the suburban neighborhoods surrounding downtown, cheering spectators along tree-lined streets and the colorful murals of Fourth Avenue boost the atmospheric energy of the race.

With gentle hills and sprawling desert views, this course celebrates the landscape, spirit and heart of Tucson from start to finish.

Common Start/Finish: The race will begin and end at the intersection of Congress Street and Granada Avenue. Participants will head west on Congress Street from the start.
